This beautiful and unique desk clock is coming from the house of Gubelin, a Swiss retailer that we know not only from double signed Patek Philippe watches but also from some of the finest clocks in the world. The famous retailer in Switzerland has managed to establish itself also as a brand for watches and clocks that have become historically important.

The case is made of heavy gilt brass and features the hour indexes on the outer case that are ridged into the frame.

The movement is a 15 Jewels manual winding movement that winds smoothly and is in very good condition.

The dial of this  very timepiece is a piece of art, a cloisonné enamel dial that was hand painted  by the artist Ronclé and is showing a floral motif. The dial is signed and makes this example a unique piece. Even the hands are created in a very special shape that is complementing the dial.
